As we reach the middle of 2012, I am amazed at what the North Texas Chapter has already accomplished and what we have in store for the remainder of the year.

In the first six months of 2012, the Chapter has partnered with many other organizations and associations including AIA Dallas, North Texas Corporate Recycling Association and the Dallas Institute to deliver programs and events, hosted more than 80 hours of GBCI-approved continuing education, and developed new leadership for several of Chapter committees.  These committees continue to create new outreach, education and advocacy programs.  These initiatives are based on current best practices as well as the influence that the International Green Construction Code, ASHREA 189 and LEED v.4 will have on the entire building market.
