Barry Friedman is President and Chief Executive Officer of Carlyle Capital Markets Inc. (CCMI). CCMI provides municipal lease-purchase and project financings for the procurement of personal and real property acquisitions to governmental entities nationwide. CCMI also provides financial consulting services for alternative energy projects such as wind, biomass to electricity, biogas to electricity, biochemical production, solar, and alternative fuels. CCMI is a member of the American Council on Renewable Energy and the National Association of Energy Services Companies.

Mr. Friedman also serves as President of CCMI’s broker dealer affiliate Friedman, Luzzatto & Co (FLCO). FLCO has been a FINRA-registered broker/dealer since 1986, a SIPC member since 1989, and a Registered Municipal Advisor since 2010. FLCO has provided financial advisory or underwriting services for more than $20 billion in transactions. Mr. Friedman is licensed by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority as a Series 52 Municipal Securities Representative, Series 53 Municipal Securities Principal and Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent.

Mr. Friedman is a member of the Council of Development Finance Agencies, and a past member of the State of California Energy Commission Resource Group, serving from 2003 through 2006.  Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Legacy Senior Living Community, is a member of the CATEE Steering Committee and serves on the Financial Sub-committee of the Fort Worth Better Buildings Challenge.
